Over the past six weeks, our Masters Track Team have been competing, initially at the NSW State Masters Track Championships at Dunc Gray Velodrome, and earlier this month, in the National Masters Track Championships at the Anna Meares Velodrome in Brisbane.
We've been exceptionally proud of our Masters Track Team who, for many years, have built a depth of talent focused primarily on the MMAS5 and MMAS6 'cohorts' and pleasingly, there is strong talent emerging in the βjuniorβ Masters' age groups.
Several of our members are current NSW, and/or Australian, and/or World Champions. You might not see some of these Randwick Cycling members at crits or road races, or even training on weekday or weekend rides. Their speciality is track and the Dunc Gray Velodrome is their playground.
So at the AusCycling Masters Track National Championships 2023 it was their turn to shine. Congratulations to the whole team and their respective loved ones and family for supporting them to #ridebetterwithrandwick.
Collectively, Adam Ingall, Alan Townsend, Chris Ling, Chris Murray, Dave Wilmott, Dwain Hesp, and Matt Glanville brought home:

We're also mindful that one of the team was unable to race in the national titles due to injuries sustained in the NSW Championships. He is with the team in body and spirit and in our thoughts and prayers.
We look forward to watching the team's progress at the 2023 Masters Track World Championships in Manchester, UK, in September-October.
We sincerely appreciate the support provided to our Masters Track Team by CPP Wind Engineering who are specialists in wind tunnel testing, for those looking for marginal gains!
